Abstract
In the August issue of Cell 2024, three back-to-back papers disentangled non-redundant inhibitory mechanisms of PD-1 and LAG-3 in exhausted murine and human CD8+ T cells. 1 , 2 , 3 These findings will have a clear impact on checkpoint blockade therapies against a variety of tumors.
