Abstract
Under 330 nm excitation, the BSBCl: x Ce 3+ emits blue light with three distinct emission centers. WLED devices with an ultra-high color rendering index were obtained using a combination of NUV chips, BSBCl: x Ce 3+ and commercial phosphors.
