Abstract

For adapting to the trend of energy development and reducing environment pollutions of ports, the energy supply mode of ports has gradually transformed from the traditional oil and coal-fired power supply mode to the integrated energy supply mode with cooling, heating, electric power and natural gas. With the advancement of port electrification, the power demand of ports has further increased, which means higher requirements for operation reliability of port integrated energy systems (PIES). To this end, this paper proposes an optimal operation method of PIES considering power demand response (DR). Firstly, by analyzing the coupling interconnection of energy conversion among PIES equipment, a multi-energy coupling conversion model of PIES based on energy hub (EH) is established. And the DR model of ports is built based on the classification of port loads. On this basis, a multi-energy coupling optimal operation model of PIES considering DR is proposed and formulated as a Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) problem. The proposed strategy is applied to a PIES, and the simulation results show that the proposed method can effectively reduce the operation cost of PIES, and reduce the peak demand of power loads in ports.
