Abstract
As a crucial technology for the 6G wireless network, integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) can significantly improve the system performance, and the characterization of correlation between communication and sensing channels is important for modeling the ISAC channel. In this letter, shared multipath components (SMCs) for ISAC scenarios are investigated and its evolution model is presented to reflect the correlation between communication and sensing channels. An outdoor measurement campaign for SMC evolution modeling and validation is conducted at 28 GHz. The results can be used to associate sensing and communication multipaths to develop ISAC channel models and support the emerging ISAC system design and evaluation.
