Abstract

Marjoram essential oil was successfully loaded onto Zn-ascorbate MOF. The antioxidant activity of the composite originated from the l -ascorbic acid ligand, while the antibacterial activity bacteria demonstrated the synergistic activity of Zn 2+ ions and encapsulated oil.
