Abstract
Colibacillosis, the most common bacterial disease affecting poultry, is mainly treated by antibiotics. Due to the increased prevalence of multidrug-resistant avian-pathogenic Escherichia coli , there is an urgent need to assess the efficacy of alternatives to antibiotherapy, such as phage therapy.
