Abstract
A novel two-step coupled PEC cell for C–H functionalization was developed. In the first step, Cl 2 is generated via a modified BiVO 4 photoanode. Then, Cl 2 is photoexcited to produce chlorine radicals, which facilitate C–H chlorination or oxidation.
