Multicolor luminescence and afterglow from Cs<sub>2</sub>NaScCl<sub>6</sub>:Sb<sup>3+</sup>,Mn<sup>2+</sup> crystals

Abstract

Cs 2 NaScCl 6 crystals exhibit a pure blue emission originating from self-trapped excitons, which is significantly boosted by Mn 2+ /Sb 3+ doping. The doped crystals shows not only a PL QY up to 62.4% but also a long afterglow after X-ray excitation.
