Abstract
ions and proteins. The MOF scaffold enhances the stability and controlled release of silver ions, enabling sustained antibacterial activity and minimizing the risk of bacterial resistance development. Additionally, the MOF class, due to the high surface area and porous nature, enhances the transfer of bacteria into and on the surface of the MOF.
