Abstract
The exploration of catalysts with large surface areas is an efficacious strategy in oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) catalyst design. In this work, two-dimensional porous PtPd nanostructures were synthesized. Owing to the advantage of high specific surface area and the synergistic effect of Pt and Pd elements, the porous Pt2Pd1 catalyst exhibits an enhanced catalytic activity and stability. This approach on superior active and durable catalysts shows great potential for fuel-cell commercial application.
