Abstract
Three benzenedisulfonic pillared δ-MnO 2 are theoretically explored for their catalytic activity for lithium– and sodium–oxygen batteries. The 2-chloro-1,4-benzenedisulfonic acid pillared structure stands out for its excellent catalytic performance.
