Abstract
<italic>t</italic>-BuOK mediates the deamination annulation of nitriles with hydrazines for the synthesis of 1,2,4-triazoles. This protocol provides a practical strategy to construct <sup>15</sup>N-labeled 1,2,4-triazoles and protein antagonists and the receptor <bold>mGlu5</bold> in one-pot.
