Abstract

Benzoates serve as catalysts or auxiliaries for photochemical E n T radical C(sp 3 )–H fluorinations. The auxiliary markedly increases scope and efficiency, enabling reactions of free alcohols, amines, and allowing rapid gram-scale fluorinations in air.
