Single‐Band Ratiometric Luminescent Thermometry Using Pr3+ Ions Emitting in Yellow and Red Spectral Ranges
J. Stefanska, Ł. Marciniak
Abstract
Single-Band Ratiometric Thermometry In article number 2100070, Joanna Stefanska and Lukasz Marciniak have designed the first Pr3+ based single band ratiometric luminescent thermometer. By using excitations matched to ground- and excited-state absorption, signals with opposite intensity dependences on temperature were obtained. The optimization of the dopant concentration enables development of a highly sensitive luminescent thermometer operating in the yellow and red spectral ranges.
