Abstract
ion concentration. Small angle neutron scattering (SANS) measurements indicate only a weak interaction between the PVA and PAA gels. It is demonstrated that the osmotic swelling pressure of PVA/PAA composite gels reproduces the osmotic behavior of healthy and osteoarthritic cartilage.
