Abstract
A new hybrid uranyl-silicotungstate (U3) was synthesized and characterized. U3 contains two kinds of Keggin-type building units and shows good catalytic activity in the synthesis of dihydropyrimidin-2(1 H )-ones from aldehydes, acetoacetates, and urea.
