Abstract
The use of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) has increased significantly in recent years. The main problem in such an environment is the way energy is used. because the nodes’ batteries use more energy while transmitting data from their source to their destination. Additionally, attention should be paid to security. The issue of energy is the main concern here. We used the Enhanced Cat Salp Swarm Algorithm to increase the energy efficiency of the network. LEACH-based CH selection and the Enhanced Cat Swarm Algorithm for optimization are the main phases of the work. The simulation has been completed, and the outcome demonstrates that the performance of our suggested work in terms of delay, packet delivery ratio, energy consumption, and network throughput was good.
