Significance of geothermal viscosity and heat generation/absorption on magnetic nanofluid flow and heat transfer

Abstract

This model includes the study of incompressible magnetic nanofluid flow due to a convectively heated rotating disk under the influence of geothermal viscosity. An equation of energy has been constructed by taking the heat generation/absorption effect into consideration. With the help of suitable transformation, the obtained fundamental equations are simplified into dimensionless system of equations. The non-dimensional system of equations is solved numerically by MATLAB bvp4c solver. The tabular and graphical expressions for velocity and temperature are shown for some values of involved parameters. The outcome shows that heat energy is generated in the flow due to the higher value of the heat generation parameter.
