WAYS TO ENSURE FOOD SECURITY IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF A DIGITAL ECONOMY

Abstract

In this article, the issues of describes ways to ensure food safety in the context of the development of the digital economy. Also, the scientific theoretical views of economists on ensuring food safety are reflected. An econometric model was proposed and a forecast was implemented to determine the main directions of ensuring food security in Uzbekistan, to further increase the well-being and quality of life of the population of our republic, and to develop specific parameters for the full supply of food to the population. The 2022-2027 forecast indicators of the amount of food products per capita have been developed. Prospective indicators of the factors affecting food products per capita of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2021-2026 and the production of consumer products in the industry of Uzbekistan is forecasted until 2021-2030. The need to further ensure the country's food security, to fill the market with quality, safe and cheap food products, to strengthen the purchasing power of the population, to liberalize foreign economic activities and to de-velop a healthy competitive environment is scientifically justified. In addition, conclusions and proposals were developed on ways to ensure food safety in the context of the development of the digital economy.
