Abstract

Based on previous research on the finite-time output synchronization of coupled neural networks (CNNs), this paper proposes the novel concept of fixed-time output synchronization and fixed-time H ∞ output synchronization, and extends the corresponding results to coupled reaction-diffusion neural networks (CRDNNs). In addition, the output delayed coupling and discontinuous activations are taken into consideration. Then, two types of CRDNNs are considered, the CRDNNs with external disturbances or that without disturbances. With the Lyapunov functional and fixed-time control theory, a novel feedback control scheme is proposed to guarantee fixed-time output synchronization and H ∞ output synchronization of the considered CRDNNs respectively. Finally, numerical examples are given to demonstrate the correctness of our results.
