Abstract
An Eu 3+ -functionalized hybrid material (Eu@Zn-MOF) is successfully prepared by the postmodification of Eu 3+ ions on its free sulfonic groups. Eu@Zn-MOF can serve as a visual probe to specifically recognize and detect rotenone on the basis of fluorescence quenching effect.
