Abstract
Two small donors with alkyl chains close to (Se-1) and away from (Se-2) the donor core were synthesized. Ordered molecular packing and an induced face-on packing by PJ1 enable an efficient charge generation and low V oc loss in the Se-2/PJ1 device.
