Abstract
Early flood warning systems help communities manage floods by giving accurate information. Recent developments using Internet of Things (IoT) offer early warning system to improve disaster management. A network of sensors collects important information such as rainfall intensity, water levels, and weather conditions. Based on this information, a cloud platform makes reliable flood forecasts and alerts. Traditional flood early warning systems need more benefits of the IoT-based solution. It allows for colleting sensor data and analyzes the real time monitoring in various locations, offering a complete perspective of flood-prone regions. These communications are given to the appropriate persons through various methods, such as mobile applications and alert notifications. It allows for continuous monitoring, which speeds up response times and evacuations. The system is flexible enough to allow more sensors and wider regions of coverage. In addition, it improves flood warning accuracy using IoT and real-time data processing. The system's ability to provide accurate flood alerts at the right moment offers great promise for enhancing disaster management. It communities to make informed decisions, reduces the number of deaths, and reduces floods' economic and social expenses.
