Abstract
This paper aims to consider the fixed-time and predefined-time synchronization of discontinuous neutral-type competitive networks with time-scales. Firstly, based on the integral inequality techniques, new predefined-time stability lemmas of Filippov systems are established, which can generalize the previous ones. By utilizing differential inclusions theory and stability lemmas, new criteria on the fixed-time and predefined-time synchronization are obtained under the new designed non-chattering adaptive control laws, which take more advantages than the previous state feedback controllers containing sign functions and also provide new control strategies for synchronizing the competitive networks. The established criteria are all delay-dependent, which are less conservative than the previous delay-independent ones for ensuring the synchronization of delayed competitive networks. Finally, one example gives numerical explanations of the proposed results.
