Abstract

The essentiality of electricity in today’s world is increasing for the mankind. The need of electricity is only increasing day to day while the fossil fuels for generating the electricity is decreasing. The generation of energy can only be met by depending on solar energy. In current scenario of energy generation among the usage of renewable energy resources, solar energy stands at the top. While the solar energy is abundant, harnessing the electric energy is challenging. The size and number of PV cells is ever increasing to harness more energy while there are certain factors that can be considered to increase the efficiency of the PV system. The paper describes one such technique in which the PV panels are rotated according to the motion of the sun to receive maximum intensity of light which in turn increases the generation of the energy. Also, the dust on the panel, which has the impact on efficiency of the panel, is monitored and cleaned.
