Abstract

as a fungus. The results showed that TMC/Ag nanocomposites had better antimicrobial activity compared with TMC alone and their antimicrobial activity increased with an increase in the concentration of Ag. The results confirmed that the TMC/Ag nanocomposites can be potentially used as an effective antimicrobial agent in food preservation.
