Abstract
Herein, an emerging no-rare earth doped and narrow-band blue-emitting phosphor of Y<sub>3</sub>Al<sub>2</sub>Ga<sub>3</sub>O<sub>12</sub>: Bi<sup>3+</sup>with narrow-band blue emission peaking at 410 nm with FWHM of 39 nm, is pioneeringly developed<italic>via</italic>selective excitation.
