Abstract

In the paper a mathematical model of two component suspension filtration in a porous medium with multistage deposition kinetics is considered. The model includes dynamic factors and accounts for changes in media porosity. It is suggested that the process of deposition forming happens with ripening, transient and breakthrough stages and continues until the deposition reaches its locally maximum value. On the basis of numerical solutions the influences of dynamic factors and suspension polydispersity on solid particles transport and deposition characteristics are analyzed.
