Abstract
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic continues to be a cause of unprecedented morbidity and mortality. Vaccination provides a ray of hope as a powerful tool for reducing the poor clinical outcomes of COVID-19. Current evidence indicates that patients with systemic autoimmune rheumatic diseases (AIRD) are at an increased risk of severe COVID-19 clinical outcomes.
