Abstract
Group A streptococcal (GAS) infections have been attracting increasing attention, as many countries were overwhelmed by a rapid surge of invasive GAS (iGAS) infections in late 2022 and 2023 after an overall low incidence during the years of the COVID-19 pandemic.1
