Abstract
The demand for efficient picture encryption techniques is growing all the time. Meanwhile, recent research has demonstrated that using chaotic functions and PRNG to administrate security produces excellent outcomes. This paper presents a 3-stage image encryption technique. The Mersenne Twister PRNG is used in the first stage, followed by an S-box in the second stage, and finally the tan Logistic map in the third stage. The suggested encryption scheme’s performance evaluation reveals high resistance to many types of attacks at a low computing cost. The suggested image encryption is therefore appropriate for real-time applications. A comparison of the proposed scheme to the state-of-the-art also shows that it is superior.
