Abstract

This article analyzes regularities of changes in metallurgical properties of pellets and develops the control concept of the metallurgical properties. The main results of the work are as follows: under conditions of existing process the changes in metallurgical properties of pellets can be monitored and controlled; the formation regularities of properties of pellets can be analyzed and algorithm of their management can be developed by an expert organization in the frames of science and technology support of production; in the existing production at Varichev MGOK, the metallurgical properties of pellets can be controlled by using concentrated products of various beneficiation extent, flux dosing, selection of particle size distribution of the pellets and annealing modes. Varichev MGOK and NPVP TOREKS starting from 2014 perform the program of science and technology support, which includes instrumental examination of equipment and process technology; determination of metallurgical properties of pellets; development of proposals in improvement of production efficiency; development of technological and design documentation; expert support of industrial experiments and implementation of innovations; and exchange of R&D information.
