Abstract

The redox dynamics in cuproptosis and Wilson's disease (WD) were revealed using a reversible and ratiometric HOCl/GSH fluorescent probe, WD-Redox. It visualizes redox imbalances caused by excessive copper accumulation and monitors therapeutic effects of D-penicillamine. The probe's utility in studying oxidative stress in copper metabolism disorders and evaluating drug efficacy has been demonstrated.
