Abstract
Digital forensics is very essential in any investigation where data is involved after a security breach. Data contents might be personal, business-related, or strictly confidential. The aim of digital forensics is to legally acquire and analyze the examined data, while Anti-forensics techniques aim to hide, manipulate, and even wipe the data, or to target the credibility of the acquired evidence. This paper presents the current antiforensics techniques, the methods applied, and the available countermeasures.
