Abstract

During the startup process of CFB boiler, problems such as wear, coking and excessive pollutant emission may occur, which pose a serious threat to the safe and environmental protection operation of the power plant. Based on the Computational Particle Fluid Dynamics (CPFD) method, numerical simulation was carried out for the thermal startup process of CFB boiler, so as to analyze the flow field change and pollutant emission dynamic characteristics during the thermal startup process of the boiler. The results show that the formation of NO and SO2 is mainly concentrated in the dense-phase zone of CFB boiler during the thermal startup process. After stable operation of the boiler, the production of NO, SO2, CO and O2 presents dynamic fluctuation. The bed height (H0) and the initial bed temperature (T0) have certain influences on the formation and distribution of NO and SO2. The research results provide theoretical basis for the actual thermal startup and operation of CFB boiler and have certain reference value.
