Abstract

• Virtual screening was performed to predict the targets of Rb 1 against MI. • Proteomics, CETSA, MD simulation, etc. were used to explore the targets. • Rb 1 does not affect the cleavage of upstream protein Caspase-9 of CASP3. • Rb 1 inhibits CASP3 cleavage by binding to two His121 sites in CASP3. • Rb 1 exerts anti-MI effect via directly targeting CASP3.
