Abstract
The current work focused on the Mechano-Tribological Investigations of Metal-Ceramic Composites for which we considered Aluminium and Boron Nitride as metal and ceramic materials respectively. The study of properties like wear behaviour, hardness and friction coefficient was considered for different weight percentages of the alloy that was prepared using the technique of sand casting. The hardness of Metal-Ceramic composite is prepared based on standard procedures. These properties were studied under dry and wet conditions. The lubricants that were considered in this experiment are grease and SAE 40. The friction and wear mechanisms are studied under micro and Nanostructural observations. The experimental investigations helped us in observation and had a systematic study about the variations in the properties for weight percentages in the path of exploring the Mechano-Tribological properties.
