Recent studies have highlighted the psychological distress associated with COVID-19 in specific populations, from patients hospitalized with suspected COVID-19 infection Surprisingly, however, the psychological distress among patients hospitalized for illnesses unrelated to COVID-19 has gone largelyand disproportionatelyuninvestigated.
