Abstract
A transition-metal-free multicomponent cascade reaction of α-halogenated ketones, <italic>ortho</italic>-aminophenols, and aldehydes using a dipeptide phosphonium salt catalyst was developed for the construction of various 2<italic>H</italic>-1,4-benzoxazines.
