Abstract
A chatbot is an AI-powered software or application designed to communicate with people. This technology can perform a variety of tasks, including providing instant responses and answers to users, delivering information, assisting with purchasing products, and enhancing customer service. In my paper, I present the fundamental principles and essential concepts of computing related to chatbots and its applications various sectors like Education, E commerce, Entertainment, Healthcare, Telecommunication, Customer Service etc. The paper also mentions detailed literature explain the contribution by various researchers in this fields. Architecture and step wise approach of creating a chatbot is presented lately.
