Operational definition of a quantum speed limit

Abstract
This work provides an operational definition of the quantum speed limit. The authors show that the true quantum speed limit should be independent of the time for non-controlled Hamiltonians and uncover that a lousy purity can benefit the reduction of the quantum speed limit.
