Abstract

Resorcinol (RSC) additive suppresses the poly.iodide shuttle and facilitates the conversion of iodine-loading cathode. Meanwhile, the RSC-containing electrolyte inhibits the interfacial side reactions of Zn anode, guaranteeing durable Zn–I 2 batteries.
