Abstract
• This article explores the views of nursing faculty members on the use of GenAI in student assessments. • The article highlights that nursing faculty see Gen AI as a challenge when determining if a student has demonstrated the required knowledge in an assessment. • The article highlights the need for clearer ethical and regulatory issues around the use of GenAI by students and whether the use of GenAI is academic misconduct.
