Abstract
The FeCO<sub>3</sub>@IF electrode based on Fe<sub>2</sub>(SO<sub>4</sub>)<sub>3</sub> as iron resource shows efficient catalytic performance for both OER and HER due to the unique <italic>in situ</italic> self-reconstructing hierarchical structures induced by the surface corrosion of FeCO<sub>3</sub> compounds.
