• Greenspace redevelopment (GR) can reproduce the conditions that drive inequities • Sleep, essential for health and wellbeing, may be moderated by GR exposure status • GR-exposed participants experiencing financial strain had poorer sleep outcomes • Contributing factors include fear of displacement due to increases in housing costs • Policies that address structural racism and preserve Black spaces are needed
