Abstract
Cyber-attacks are becoming more and more multiple and sophisticated, Causing profound consequences on humans and their organization. This has led researchers and specialists to put measures continuously to improve detection methods. With the wide scale use of machine learning (ML) in various field, lot of research has shown that the combination of this technology with traditional detection tools brings added value in cybersecurity. In this context, this paper list the most popular cybersecurity attack, outlines the frequently used machine learning algorithms for attack detection and prediction.
