Abstract

(Abstracted from Hum Reprod 2023;38(9):1655–1679) Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) has a prevalence of 10% to 13%, making it the most common endocrinopathy affecting reproductive-aged women. The etiology of PCOS is complex, and its presentation is heterogeneous with reproductive, metabolic, and psychological features.
