Abstract

We report the first use of a reduction type semiconductor photocatalyst CdS for the visible light photocatalytic oxidation of NO, and in situ growth of metallic Bi can stimulate the production of ˙O 2 − and 1 O 2 , which greatly enhances the oxidation of NO.
