Abstract
machine perfusion in liver transplantation, normothermic machine perfusion has proven to reduce discard rates and early allograft dysfunction. In response to clinical studies, hypothermic machine perfusion for deceased donor kidneys has already been implemented as standard of care in the Netherlands.
