Abstract
Many innovative challenges arise in the cellular network design due to high services which includes mail services, file transfer, video streaming, and wireless sensor networks. System performance enhancement is highly appreciated. To achieve, radio resources are to be properly allocated as in Long Term Evolution (LTE) networks. Real-time data are required for Internet of things (IoT) sensing that can be provided by M2M technology, a promising infrastructure. Trade off occurs between system utility and quality of service (QoS) that is solved by the optimization problem. Cross-layer approaches proposed satisfy QoS requirements by utilizing the effective capacity theories and bandwidth for critical MTC. This paper investigates energy efficient resources for uplink channels in LTE-A network. The simulated results show that the proposed scheme exhibits superior in comparison with other scheduling algorithms in terms of performance.
